Seems strange we are basically talking about a fictional product by/from Apple. We could also be talking about flying dragons as well. LOL

LOL @ suggesting Apple would make a product that would retail for less than $800. Hell, even an iPhone is about $600 when unsubsidized. How anyone thinks a larger, more complicated, more technologically advanced product could even HOPE to be less is beyond me.
I think that potential market drops precipitously as the realistic price range is presented.

I'll never buy an Apple tablet, but I'll get the Microsoft Courier tablet the day it comes out if I can afford it.

I think an iTablet would fall into the same market as a netbook. So maybe we should calm down about imminent marketing coups.

It's awesome, but considering the touch screen keyboard, you may be better off with a MacBook unless Apple adds some physical keyboard support, but it wouldn't call this crappy since we don't know all of the features and tech specs.
Asking for help is different from being stupid. Fanboys can rot in @#$%!

I really like the idea of a Mac tablet but I don't think I would really use it outside of traveling and therefore couldn't justify getting one
. I do have a convertible notebook that I want to experiment putting Mac OS on though

How can you call someone else an idiot when you don't know the difference between "your" and "you're"?
Anyways, if it's running OSX, looks as nice as some of the renders I've seen, and costs less than a grand, I'll get one. Granted, I don't own a Mac, but I've grown to love touchscreens since owning an iPhone.Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?

I think arguing over something that might not even exist is ridicules. If this device was to ever be produced I might consider purchasing it if the specs are decent enough.

off topic but closest thread to the subject......anyone here tried jolicloud as a netbook OS? if it works as good as it looks (for its purpose) i think i would break down and get a netbook....wouldn't mind lightening my day to day load and leaving my MBP at home since my wife's insanely crappy HP laptop is always working....well......insanely slow and crappy.
