iTunes 9 hasn't made it into Software Update yet but you can still download it via the Apple site right here. If you are already jailbroken iTunes 9 doesn't appear to interfere with you at all. Not sure if it interferes with the jailbreak process yet however.

Edit: Uh, you need the 3.1 firmware to rearrange apps in iTunes. It's not worth the loss of jailbreaking.

Update:- Oooops thought it said it would not interface with iphone.ipod touch devices (almost downloaded)

It will be interesting how Cydia apps will work with the app management (or if they will work at all). I'm at work now, so if anyone tries this out let us know!

i am so pissed off by apple !! rearrange apps over itunes yeah of fu** we need to sync whole phone ok sync done why are my icons not rearranged ?? wtf? this is so lame ! apple is losing me this is total **** ( sorry but i´m kind of angry) they did better stuff in past times!! so i´m off good by!! anyone has an idea off a good smartphone think android is doing it !! i´m gonna install linuux completely over my mac!!snow leopard sucked anyway!!

Oh man, I completely forgot this was today. This iTunes upgrade looks GREAT. I thought awhile ago it'd be awesome to have genius for the Appstore but never even heard rumors about it so I'm beyond excited for that. The app arranging thing in iTunes is awesome as well (hopefully it works). I don't know if it'll be enough to get me to stop using categories but it's a big step in the right direction. Looks good Apple.

i have a 16gb ipod touch 1gen and everytime i plug it into my 10.5.8 imac itunes crashes i have not upgraded to snow lep. because i need at least one of my computers to be able to print in color (hp deskjet 5150)

So from what I've gathered here you need 3.1 to use the app manager in iTunes 9 and that from the twitter alert I recieved that 3.1 GM is still vunerable. I am a legit ATT user so I'm not concerned with the unlock, but if I update to 3.1 now I assume I will be safe to re-jailbreak later when the tools are released??
