Apple's Annual Event confirmed for September 9

Finally, Apple is giving out invitations for their annual music event on September 9th with the tag line "It's only rock and roll, but we like it". There has been a lot of suspicion and much more of curiosity surrounding this event because it's the usual time for iPod refresh.

The iPod refresh is even confirmed by the fact that the invitation depicts an image of a silhouette dancer with an iPod in hand. The event is scheduled to be at Yerba Buena Center for Arts Theatre, San Francisco at 10:00 am PST. There's no word on who will be delivering the keynote.

Currently, there are many speculation about a camera and a microphone in the upcoming models of iPod Touch, iPod Nano and maybe iPod Classic. Other rumors suggest about a newer version of iTunes with social integration. Last but not the least, many enthusiasts expect an Apple Tablet to be announced, if not released, in September.

I really hope they showcase the tablet so all the rumors can be silenced.

Yeah! Just like they showcased the iPhone in January 2006 and released in June... That silenced many rumors at the time but gave birth to new ones though

Yes, at&t needs to get on the ball with MMS. I have MMS on my iPhone here in China and it's not even on an Apple supported carrier
