Unreleased Apple product Spotted in California?

According to a local newspaper in California, Sierra Sun , Apple recently shot an ad for an unreleased and <s>completely</s> unknown product at a diner in California. The owner of Jax on the Tracks, Bud Haley made a statement that "Apple found us, they're trying to show us as a hip and cool spot for the 20-something crowd,".

The classic locality seems to be quite a nice place for shooting an ad for the much rumored Apple tablet or maybe even the next-gen iPod (cash thinks its for Snow Leopard). There's no surety about what is it going to be due to the tight security Apple is known for . . . But, we should soon be expecting some cool leaks on this specific product, whatever it be.

The filming process was done on a Tuesday afternoon and the product seems to be ready for a late September or early October launch.

I'm thinking tablet. I can just imagine someone sitting at a diner stool, with the tablet up on the counter reading the New York Times website.

Not sure what it's for, but I wouldn't be suprised to see them drop the itouch 3 in Sep. since MS is releasing the Zune HD that same month.

I love my itouch and iphone, but that new Zune does look damn hot!

Exactly what i thought! Followed by "awsome another MS piece of junk" Hey they can do a lot of cool things but without all the support that apple gets from having such a huge user base, and of course alien technology.

I think it's a tablet in the shape of a diner plate, no really I do!

I'll bet it's Apple's new portable toilet. They're at the diner and some dude needs to go to the bathroom, so he runs in to the stall and the toilet seat has pee and pubic hair all over it. Then he whips out his iToilet and takes a nice clean dump.

Who wouldn't buy one of these? Only makes sense that Apple would make one of these. Imagine their profits! And they'd make it with style. 30GB iToilet comes in porcelain only. 80GB comes in either porcelain or solid gold.

Lol I think that its the tablet. Because all the iPod commercials (by Apple) that I have seen were shot like the iPhone commercials, a white background with a voice-over. And since the tablet is a new product, it would makes sense to have a new sales pitch, a new idea on how to advertise. Anyone agree?

Sounds fair to me, looks like a relaxed place to "do a web surfing while waiting for the lunch"...
