Phil Schiller to Deliver WWDC 2009 Keynote!

Anticipations have been high that Steve would be making a comeback from his leave and land at the WWDC 2009 keynote but alas, he's still going to be on leave. The keynote will be delivered by Phil Schiller on June 8th.
Though Phil performed quite well in the Macworld Keynote, he's simply no replacement for the charismatic C.E.O.
The keynote will involve a developer preview for the upcoming Snow Leopard. This preview will involve some demos of new capabilities - including QuickTime X, Multi-Core and GPU processor support... and a few accessibility enhancements.
Hopes are high that the new iPhone will also show up in the keynote but they might delay it for a Steve announcement...

I could not care less who announces it. Eventually Steve Job will retire with the next 10 years. Then one day he will die. I think this is a good way to find who will take over. Apple is still apple without Steve. They are on their own feet and I am confident they can succeed without him in the distant future.

I think Phil does a pretty good job, and the rest of the team does too.

I would think there would be an announcement on the New Iphone in June so Apple wouldnt have to go through this BS again in a couple months or so .

The new iPhone will almost certainly be announced at WWDC

Let's hope Phil Schiller will bust out a "one more thing" and Steve Jobs will come walking out with a new iPhone!

But it is true.
One day, Jobs will no longer be there due to retirement or health issues - that's just a fact. Apple will have to go on without him, for better or worse.
I don't put much credence in this, but:
