DFU mode?
It would be interesting to find out if the DFU restore problem still exists in this update. Could someone post back here if they can confirm it works or doesn't work?

^^^ Is the "problem" referring to the feature that Apple has added to their OS to try and thwart jailbreakers? If so, why would it NOT be included?

Exactly... that's not a "bug"... it's on purpose.

Winner announced!
Apple announced on their website...
"The one billionth app, Bump created by Bump Technologies, was downloaded by Connor Mulcahey, age 13, of Weston, CT. As the grand prize winner of Apple’s one billion app countdown contest, Connor will receive a $10,000 iTunes gift card, an iPod touch, a Time Capsule and a MacBook Pro."

Lucky... hopefully his parents sign and accept his big prize (damn minor laws)

mac doesnt suck. windows has dominated the scene cuz they were here first, thats all. mac has a better UI and way most stable than any platform. Im not saying its perfect, but its definitely my choice over windows. I have been a windows user for all my life. 2 years ago my friend introduced me to mac and i will never go back to windows. windows will never get it right. i tried windows 7, impressed but not blown away. mac with slowly take over. vista is a sorry excuse for a OS.

So overall does this run smoother than leopard? I really did enjoy 10.4 but 10.5 just seems kind of clunky. Apps tend to freeze and lock up for a minute or so sometimes when logging into the computer or from sleep mode. I've never experienced this problem on 10.4 so will 10.6 fix and approve upon these areas?
