honestly pc's are overpriced because i cant for the life of me figure out why you would pay more than 300 dollars for a piece of ****machine ;oaded up with a s****y OS

What makes a mac so high quality when they use the same components as "PC's"? I'd also love to know what makes it worth double what it would cost to build the same machine yourself? Is it just because of the operating system? You can build a $500 "PC" (Maybe $1000 in the case of this computer) and load OSX on it and have either the same or a better machine hardware-wise and still spend half or less what you would on a mac.
I don't understand you nut-swinging fanboys. You are not paying for customer service, you are buying into HYPE. If you actually have to use customer service with your computer, you shouldn't own one in the first place.
A comparable computer to this one could be built for half that price and loaded with OSX, but since this is being called a "Mac", the price automatically doubles because Steve Jobs knows you fanboys will pay that much. I'd also really like to know what exactly designates a computer a "PC" or a "Mac" anymore.
They use the same hardware, the only difference is the operating system. Furthermore, I don't see why anyone even argues the fact that "Well Macs are good for video editing and stuff...blah blah blah". You can do everything a Mac can do
and more on a "PC" (or should I say a computer using the Windows OS?).
Your last argument is absolutley invalid, as we are talking about a machine costing 2-3 thousand dollars here. You obviously are also talking about pre-built machines, which everyone knows are ****. If you put 2-3 thousand dollars into a custom machine, you'd have the nicest computer imaginable at this period of time, and yes, that means much better hardware than what's in that Mac.
And since it's apparent you are about twelve years old by the way you type, I'm not going to bother educating you on the economy right now, but one thing I will say is that you better start caring because it is affecting every single one of us.
Obviously you have your opinions, but you are also making ridiculous, absolutely moronic claims that stand no solid ground whatsoever. You are nothing more than a fanboy and refuse to accept the fact that someone must be doing something right to have 98% of the market share on computers/operating systems. Simply the fact that you didn't know Windows can handle 32GB of RAM shows that you honestly don't know a damn thing about computers, so please, think before you post next time.
