New Mac Mini Packaging Pic Surfaces!
A new photo has emerged that claims to unveil the packaging of a new Mac Mini that is expected to be released really soon. This pic is in line with the one leaked before and thus makes me believe the rumored specs are true as well!

The box shows a backside view of the Mac Mini sporting ports for Ethernet, FireWire 800, Mini DVI, and Mini DisplayPort and 5 USB in order. All these ports are exactly the same as the ones in the image and video leaked awhile back.

A noticeable fact is the presence of NVIDIA chipset logo on this packaging picture which assures the transition to NVIDIA GPU.

just because there's a new apple product undergroundedly surfaced that makes you say: "I might have to get one"or "I'm getting mine" ??
That's ridiculous! Hey I heard there was an iFART #2 application leaked. I'M GETTING IT! Bahaha. iFart...You don't have to lie to kick it.

I would give it a good guess that they will, the mini is a great little desktop and to have that much power (graphically in it would be awesome) I have one anyways, but would definitely considering upgrading!!

look close at the "iLife" icon on the box, you can see the edges like it's been cut out of something else. I've never seen a newer mac mini, laptop or desktop that has been made covered in shrink wrap. They just have those stickers keeping the matte finish boxes closed, and they've all had a handle. This looks like it was made by the same guy that put out the other picture/vid of the mini. I'm not saying they wont have a new mini or anything, this picture just looks fake is all.

Now if they would just announce the new iMacs we'll be in business. Been using my laptop and tried to boot my old pc the other day and nothing.
However these new mac minis look nice.

My mistake then...i think its useless to buy a Mac after looking at everything...they overcharge and are even worse then Microsoft with trying to control everything.

I agree. I've only stocked new mini's that are cardboard + Stickers to keep them secure. They also have a gray plastic handle on top. Plus the iLife 09 symbol looks like its cut from bleach white printer paper, versus the yellowed box.
Although, on the other hand, all of Apple's newer accessories and smaller items (Batteries, Airport Extreme, Express, mice, keyboards, Apple TV, Time Capsule, etc..) have come in increasingly smaller packaging, sealed with shrink wrap. Maybe they are cutting down on the packaging just like the above mentioned?
Either way, it's still a mac mini....

AS an avid photoshoper, for work stuff of course, this is what I've noticed. The packaging is a shrink wrap around a box. Could be a pre-skid packaging, so this could be legit. AS for the iLife, that is the iLife Box Image,, like display on the Mac-Mini page.
All in all you're right, it's still a mac mini. If it is a fake, I don't get why ppl waist their time. That would be an excessive waste to go that far out to fake it.
I wouldn't mind seeing something like this coming out though. But also, I would rather see some inspiration on the new iMacs.

ARGHH, AGAIN NO HDMI???? this is really irritating. Only reason preventing me to pre-order (whenever that will be available).
Going smaller in size doesnt mean discarding main peripherals.
