For those of you wondering how to get your top sites to show up as your homepage, simply go to your top sites, then open your preferences, and click "set to current page". If that isn't your style, just change your homepage to "topsites:///".Viruses

Returning The Blue Progress Bar
Here's what to do if you miss the blue progress bar when a page is opening.
Open Terminal and type in the following commands......
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4IncludeToolbarRedesign -bool NO
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4LoadProgressStyle -bool NO
Close both Safari & Terminal and when you reopen Safari the progress bar will be back!
Been using 4 since yesterday and am loving it so far.

Also... MathML is broken Getting a lot of rendering errors; but then Safari never really supported MathML. Will still need to use Firefox for this...

While it looks nice, I've used Firefox way too long to turn my back on it now... It seems to me like Safari is constantly having to fix security bugs/holes... I know that Firefox has them too, but if I'm going to have to pick a web browser, I'd rather stick to something I know that I trust than give it up for some glitter and glam... Just my opinion.

The new safari looks freakishly awesome, i downloaded it this AM, but I haven't had a chance to use it. :-( SO I'm watching the board and listening to you guys tell me EVERYTHING about it.
Question: Does anyone think it'll ever have something like "No Script" (Firefox) installed on it?

Can someone please upload the file for me if it's not too much trouble. I still don't understand how Firefox and Safari 3 download everything else, but then they get to the Safari 4 download page, say "Thank you for downloading Safari 4", but don't give me the file.

BTW, rm -rf / (recursively force delete everything from the root down) only works if you are the root user. SunOS once had a bug which would do the same thing if you issued: "rm -rf *" from anywhere in the file system. It would traverse to ".." which is the parent directory and then keep going until it reached "/"

I already posted on "how to get topsites as your homepage", either open top sites and in your preferences click "set to current page", or just make your homepage "topsites:///"Viruses
