Apple NetBook Mock Up

Here is a MacBook Mini concept design by Isamu Sanada.
It sure looks a lot like the Vaio P by Sony. It features a 10-inch extra wide screen and tri-folding. Unlike the Vaio P, the MacBook Mini would feature a fold down leaf for a full track pad. This concept design is intended to have the thinness of the MacBook Air.
However, if Apple actually does ever release a netbook like this you can probably expect them to do like Sony and deny they are releasing a netbook at all…until they do!
Here are some more pics:

I like the design…but I hope that Apple comes out with one where the whole screen features mult-touch; then you would not even need the track pad and the spiffy tri-fold design.

How inconvenient that tri fold design would be, always having to fold down to use the track pad and fold again to use the keyboard? NO. Apple yould 100% definatley (i hope) make their netbook work something like a 10+ inch iPhone would... Maybe include a little pocket-like case to hold it in when you're not using it or something. THAT would be nice.
For a good example, look at the ModBook.

i'd become a pc user if apple released anything like that.
there's not gunna be a track pad for the upcoming tablet.
and for the keyboard, i could see them making it all touch screen
but i think i'd actually like a flip/slide out keyboard.
the screen will probably be a little too big for an only-thumbs touchscreen keyboard. but who knows.. im sure apple will think of something badass and creative.

Those look absolutely terrible....
And I don;t foresee a netbook in the near future, at least not with the new expensive materials we have been seeing Apple use. Netbook market dominates almost completely based on price. You get them for 400 bucks. Their phones aren;t even that cheap...------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

That design is the most annoying ever, ever. Seriously, it would get old real fast, having to flip the touch pad over to access the keyboard. They could just put a multitouch pointing stick in the key... Oh wait, nevermind.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Man, give it up already. If you want a Mac netbook that badly, get an HP Mini 1000 and put OS X on it. It works great and you can use a stock Apple DVD to do the install.

Guesswork fail.
Not even remotely close to what apple would do if they did it.
#1 - it would be SSD Flash so it would be thinner primarily due to not have three ugly flaps.
#2 - Apple does not use "big a*ss hinges"
#3 - Apple does not use full size keyboards on their small models (iphone for instance, dual switchable keyboard)
#4 - Apple would not use an aluminum keyboard as the top of the laptop like the persons that mocked this atrocity up did.

#5 - Fail.Last edited by one1; 01-30-2009 at 01:22 AM.

Chill pill maybe?
Anyways, I agree that they should probably make the screen multi-touch, and I think that they probably would, which I suppose would go along with you're idea one1 that they would not have a full size keyboard because there would always be the possibilty of no keyboard. They could just have a double touch screen. The "bottom" screen because the keyboard or possible "touch screen track pad" since it would be like the iPhone with the ability to switch from one set of keys to the next.iEat. iSleep. iPhone.

There have been rumours of a large ipod touch and an iPhone nano.
could the large ipod touch not be the apple tablet/netbook that everyone wants?
and could the iphone nano be referring to the current iphone models?
that would make allot more sense than apple releasing 2 or 3 completely new products, complicating their line of products - which is something Apple doesn't do.The Original Autobot of MMiJesus couldn't turn into a fire engine

Apple already has a netbook. It's called the MacBook Air.
