iTunes 8.0.1 Out

iTunes 8.0 included a whole boatload of features. 8.0.1 which is available now includes a whole boatload of much needed bugfixes . . .

Seamlessly plays the current song when creating a new Genius playlist.
Improves syncing spoken menus to iPod nano.
Addresses an issue of deleting HD TV episodes when downloading.
Improves checking for updates from the App Store.
Improves accessibility with VoiceOver.
Addresses problems syncing Genius results to iPod.

Head over to Software Update to grab the newest version. If you have any issues with the update please shout out and tell us!
edit: first issue reported. Error 13014.

fyi windows users a windows mobileme interface update was also released. You need iTunes 8.0.1 for the update.

Hmm.. I go to sync my Iphone with this new Itunes and I keep getting an error (13014)

I'm at CF 2.1 btw.. This bites royaly. Pray its my fault and not the update

try repair disk permissions with disk utility then reboot. tell me if it works

I upgraded iTunes and I have one cracked IPA and it works fine. I have synced my iPhone a few times now to test out and everything seems to be working fine. All my purchased apps, 3rd party apps and the one cracked IPA all work fine.

I had to get a new phone yesterday because my speaker quit working. When I got home I up graded iTunes and went through the jailbreak process. I can get it jailbroken but have no service. I get an error if I try to jailbreak with a lower version. I am still messing with it but I think I will have to wait for a Pwnage tool update.

Yeah, I updated right when it came out and got that error on a 2.1 Jailbroken 3G. Thought it was a problem with it being jailbroken, so I restored and what not, and still got the same problem. Then I just quit out of itunes and opened it back up, and it worked. So you might not even need to restart your comp. I read elsewhere that it did take some people several tries of closing/opening iTunes. But i'm sure it'll work at some point for everyone. :P

Not sure if anyone else had the BSoD as soon as you plug in your iphone with iTunes 8. but it seems that 8.0.1 fixed this problem for me. I can now have my HP printer plugged in when I dock my iPhone!

Ok, I have tried everything I know to do and still don't have signal after jailbreak. If anyone finds a solution then I sure would like to know.
