Made on Mac: Microsoft "I'm a PC" Ads.

Microsoft launched their "I'm a PC" ad campaign recently to combat the popular "I'm a Mac" ads that have been running as far as we can remember now. Shouldn't "I'm a PC ads" be made with a PC, since PCs are the greatest and all?
"A PC is not a stereotype. And neither are you. If you’re a PC, you belong to a community of more than a billion individuals, working, playing, and connecting. Doing their own thing. If you’re a PC, we want to celebrate you. So stand up."
Well, the above is true of course, unless you're doing activities like making advertisements for Windows I guess. If that is the case then of course you use a Mac. Late last week it was discovered that the images running on Microsoft's ad campaign website life without walls were made on a Macs running Adobe Creative Suite 3 by simply looking at the images metadata (which stores the program and OS the images were created with among other things).
When questioned about their use of Macs for their I'm a PC ad campaign Microsoft responded:
"As is common in almost all campaign workflow, agencies and production houses use a wide variety of software and hardware to create, edit and distribute content, including both Macs and PCs."
And shortly after Microsoft scrubbed the offending metadata out of all their images to hide that yes, they do use Macs.

Well, Apple also uses Microsoft products. I live in Memphis, TN and at our Apple store during checkout we noticed their scanners use Microsoft Mobile OS. The employee showed us because we were cracking jokes about Windows in the Apple store. I say big deal, a computer is a computer...Apple or Microsoft. I like em all as long as they do what I need.

I don't see how this is news. Apple Stores use point of sale equipment running Windows.

I agree with the "a computer is a computer" statement...
I primarily use PC..... but I have used the mac side of things too..
it really comes down to preferences...both argue that one is better than the other...
I just find more software being written for the PC than the mac...
now granted..the mac fella's are catching up on the software side...but theres a lot of things I just cant run on a mac..LOTS of things in my line of work..
all of the Mac people I know either use boot camp or parallels to use the windows side for all of the Touring Concert industry Software....
lots of people I know in the Art/Design industry use macs...its not that its any better or worse on a pc..but they started with a mac because thats where that stuff started...now they are comfortable with it so they stay with it...
its all just a bunch of 1's and 0's on the end...

I just don't get it.
I think MS and Apple have just gone too far.
because a PC is a Personal Computer.
Now....
My PC is a MacBook. I dont let any Tom, **** or Harry use it. Because it's my personal computer.

haha thats just windows shooting themselves in the foot, inadvertently admitting mac is so much better for graphic/website design. macs are inherently better computers. the dock is infinitely more useful than a basic desktop, they came up with the idea for the finder, and widgets. the settings on a mac are extremely easy to use and there are no confusing menu's to get lost in when trying to change a setting. being able to hide windows, show all current windows, and quickly access the desktop without minimizing is a godsend. not to mention, there are never any popups insisting you must approve every program's permission to access the internet. macs are easier to use, and because leopard isn't sold to companies like dell, hp, etc. they are much better built computers. you get what you pay for with a mac. a pc is a ticking time bomb of inefficiency.
