This release is also remarkable in the sense as it brings HD Shows ($2.99 each) and also NBC is back!



Just like the rumors there's a new genius sidebar!

Also, now the iTunes users info will be combined and analyzed by apple who will generate results to tailor your music library every week!

Does iphone browser still work after upgrading to itunes 8?

Did they fix how the appstore apps are not staying in sync when some are downloaded via appstore and some are downloaded via itunes?

Did they modify how the backup works? Can we still use the gui disable backup utility?

I hope it has the ability to automatically import music you put into folders. That'd be nice. I, at times, add music to a folder and have to leave to do something else, then forget to import it.

This is a big update, it fixes lots of bugs. Fewer dropped calls, big battery life improvements. No crashes with Apps. Backing up is faster.

I can barely deal with their BS with their phone, I can only imagine how miserable my life would be if I was foolish enough to buy a mac.

all i am worried about is the fewer dropped calls on 3g.. i have to switch everything around at night before i go to bed. strangly at 8am EVERY morning when my phone is on edge, my alarm clock, radio and phone starts buzzing SO LOUD it wakes my fiance and i up and i am going to through the iphone through the damn window one hungover morning.

and i always have to switch to edge to make calls cause i am worried it wil hang up on my on 3g.


and where do we download 8.0 iTunes?

Actually, you'll find that customer satisfaction with Macs is generally quite a bit higher than that of PC users. I am a long time PC user who recently purchased the Macbook Pro 17". By far it's the best laptop I've ever used. I upgraded from a Thinkpad t42p which was my previous favorite.

Stop Apple bashing and look at the facts. Apple is the fastest growing computer manufacturer for a reason.

Apple has definitely made a few blunders recently, but their products are still exceptional. The iPhone has been a bit of a debacle since the release of 2.0, but Apple will work it out. I just look forward to Friday's 2.1 release. I really hope it resolves some of the more significant issues with 2.0.

Now if I could just coax my system into finding the iTunes 8 update.
