Rumor: iTunes 8 to include Genius recommender, grid view, new visualizer

Once again out of the rumor mill by none other than Mr. Kevin Rose, Digg founder...

Last time, he predicted the new iPod nanos (later supported by case design evidence). This time, he claims to have some inside info on the new iTunes 8. Genius recommender - something like Pandora, I guess, visualization (that is so WMP...), and a grid view.

All that is nice, but seriously, all I want is faster iPhone syncing (mine just took 3 hours the other day), and hopefully some FOLDER MONITORING (although I doubt that's coming)!!

What I really want is for iTunes to leave a lighter footprint. The thought of additional features almost makes me cringe when I think about what they will do to my machine.
