    Default Airport Extreme and Express

    I'm thinking about buying an airport extreme and express to use as a range extender.

    I was wondering how far into the product cycles are these currently in?

    Are they due for an update any time soon?

    I know they been out a while and would hate to buy these when a possible update is around the corner.

    Please advise.

    P.S. I currently have a Linksys WRT400N and read the Express cannot be use to wirelessly extend this signal.
    This is why I'm looking into buying both Extreme and Express.
