Would a Seagate - 250GB Internal Serial ATA harddrive work in a macbook?

I was wondering if a Seagate 250GB Internal Serial ATA harddrive would work in a macbook 13.3" version 4.1. Hopefully this made since, because I know nothing about macs and I was looking at buying one to fix up.

P.S. I was looking to buy one so I could develop iphone/ipad apps. What are the minimum iPhone SDK requirements?

I would go with the scorpio black 320 drive, it's fast (7200) rpm and has tons of space and I think you need
Snow leopard for the latest sdk.

It should. Just have to format the drive for Mac. I also agree with JedixJarf that if your gonna replace it might as well do it right
