Anodize your macbook
As some of you may have read, it is a possibility that macbooks may be being made from aluminum now.
If this is the case, how many of you would be wanting to customize your notebook case by anodizing them and possibly having them laser engraved with custom designs?
Keep in mind that this would of course void any warranty you have.
But I help manage an Ano-shop as a side project and am good friends with a few people that do wonderful laser engraving job.
If this seems like an idea that would take off, I would be willing to take custom orders. I could do anything from camo jobs, to 3 color acid washes, to tattoo's. All sorts of Ano jobs.
Let's hear some feedback.UPRISING-ARMY

sounds great, could it be done to my current mbp? what kind of cost are we talking about? etc.

I could do it. But it would need to be stripped down to just the shell before shipping. No plastic or rubber seals, no screws, nothing. Anything else other than aluminum interferes with the oxidization process. I'd also like to know what grade of aluminum the mbp is before anodizing it. If it's 4041 or higher, no prob. Anything too far below that, and I'd be a bit worried.

Anodizing is a nice improvement.... as long as you have NO scratches. You gotta have one hell of a nice laptop. If not they will show up even worse after anodizing.
