I like the look of the G-Tech drives. I'm looking for a pretty good sized drive(1TB) range and the G-Raid2 looked really nice and a pretty good price. I was also looking around at RAID 1 drives. I'd primarily want that drive for time machine, would it be redundant to use a RAID 1 drive for backups? I mean it'd be a backup of a backup but still.
Not sure what I'm going to do but $500 for 1.5TB of RAID 0 seems like a pretty good deal and for a well built drive. Any thoughts on reliability of Hitachi HD's?(those are the HD's in the G-Tech drives)
