Help jailbreak errors

I have a 2nd gen iPod touch with snowbreeze 4.2.1 iOS.
Whenever I try to open certain app it won't load or it will go thought the loading than cut out. Ex cod zombies will load but when I go to start a match it kicks me back to the springboard. Any suggestions or solutions

It's not a jailbreak problem.
The problem seems to be that the app was originally written for OS 3.0, and wasn't updated properly for 4.x.
Eventually, the developer released some patches, but they weren't available for most people. Some of the updates even made the problem WORSE.

It seems kinda frustrating.

What version of COD Zombies do you have? Can you update to a newer version?
Are you in the US? (or outside the US?)

One (possibly unrelated) issue people have reported, is that the multiplayer online function won't work unless your router / firewall is specially configured for it. Apple and Activision support have claimed that "jailbreak" is the underlying cause, but there's no real evidence for that.
