    Default Tried to partition volume on present volume
    I idiotically tried to partition one of the volume on my mac computer with disk utility. Dont have much knowledge about Mac as i am new to it. I thought it works similar to windows. Volume has been created but files which were present in that volume are missing in both of them. Waht to do?

    Hello Nurhan,
    Try time machine and see if you can get the files which you have lost. When time machine fails to get back the lost data use third party tool which performs mac recovery from partitioned drive.
    Download the software and recover your files which you have lost during partitioning.
