Need help restoring
Ok well I think my computer crashed
because one day it froze up and I force shut down and now when ever I start it up it says "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button."
So i wanna restore it to my time machine back up but I don't know how to go about doing that.
I tried inserting the Mac OS X Install DVD but it won't go in.
So I really need help, Thanks.

more times than not, that error message means you have faulty or bad ram installed. I would try removing one ram stick while leaving the other in and start up the computer to see if you still get the error. if you do, try the other. if that doesn't work, it could be other faulty hardware.
