Osx 10.5.6
Hi, so I upgraded my powerbook g4 to leopard a few months ago and right now I'm on 10.5.1. I wanna upgrade to 10.5.6 but it breaks dfu mode, so im wondering if there is a way i can only update to 10.5.4 or 10.5.5? any help?

Thanks a ton, it worked fine. My computer froze a little during the installation but its fine now. Also there were 2 10.5.4 updates on apples website but one was much bigger than the other so I downloaded that and its working great.

Ok, so i just bought an iMac G5 with OSX 10.5.6 installed on it, but the previous guys name and that still show up, so i would like to do a clean install.
Also i noticed that Bootcamp seems to be missing, so i can only assume he deleted it.
Problem is, when i put in the OSX disc and hit restart, it reboots but ejects the disk before loading up the installer.
Am i doing something wrong?
TIA

I'd go to 10.5.6. There are work arounds for the DFU mode issue. either use a USB hub or d/l the older USB drivers from Apple. No biggie.

Any like "wow" differences between 10.5.4 and 10.5.6?

Not sure really, but probably stability updates, bug fixes, security fixes, etc.
If the DFU issue is your only hang up, its easily worked around.
