    Default Not A Noobie, but.......
    I can't for the life of me remember how to set up an ad-hoc network (iPhone to MacBook), and have the config saved so I can disconnect and still have the network show up unde the airport menubar symbol? I tried the Mac Help...but you guessed help.... ;-(

    Everybody still passed out from all the turkey?

    Yeah lame isn't it. I haven't figured out any way to create a permanent ad-hoc network. bah. I've gotten quite used to creating a new network every time.

    i am a noob at least to ad-hoc.... could you tell me how to do it?

    Right click the Wifi signal icon in the menu bar. Go to Create Network...

    does anyone know how to make one that works with a iPhone and Vista? i have tried multiple times, my iPhone connects to it (in settings etc) but still doesnt work :@
