pretty asap burner help

i try burning a cd in itunes, toast, whatever it may be, IMG's and video converting seems to burn fine, but when i try to burn an audio cd (not mp3) in either program it gives me an error and write failed, like some stupid medium error or script error with a bunch of numbers, is this the burner, or what?

It may be, try updating the drivers to your burner and see I that helps, also try another burning software just I make sure, if you still get the errors, it might be your burner.

Thanx button in advance

that drive has a history of having problems -- in particular burning audio. It tends to work with cheap crappy CD-R discs and fails with high quality ones.

Try some different blank CDs

I also use only the cheap blank spindle DVD's that you can get for 13$ for 50 of them. Works a lot better than the 5 pack with cases for 15$
