Ok here is what happened and as much detail as i know:
I have an iPhone 4S with 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak by absinthe
Im using a Windows 7 computer 64 bit, and i have a windows 7 32bit desktop
I DO NOT HAVE ANY SSH blobs
My Iphone 4s 5.1.1 Jailbroken. UNLOCKED. (was on untethered jailbreak by absinthe
Went to sleep, woke up one morning and noticed it was in recovery mode, tried to recover it. = error 21, when I use custom IPSW it gives me error 3194.
Here is everything I have tried so far:
Hard Reset (Sleep/Wake button + Home button for 10 sec) multiple times (DFU MODE)
I have tried restoring on two different computers using the 5.1.1 ISPW, I updated both computers, I updated both antivirus programs on computers, disabled antivirus, updated itunes, uninstalled itunes and mobile device support, reinstalled itunes and mobile device support.
When I try in DFU MODE On apples IPSW I get error 21, and with custon IPSW I get error 3194,
With or without DFU mode, it does not matter.
I have tried multiple USB ports and know that my USB cable works perfect
When I try to restore in recovery mode I always get error 21. And I believe I get error 21 because it is suppose to be in DFU mode when I restore.
I have tried to put it in pwned DFU mode but I do not believe it is support. I have tried accessing the file system and am unable
Here are all the programs I have tried and failed with:
Redsnow (multiple versions including the very latest)
Nothing I have found is able to access the file system while it is in boot loop, DFU mode, or Recovery mode, and nothing I have found supports the iPhone 4S on 5.1.1
Please, anybody, help me???
I HAVE TRIED THE C: WINDOWS : SYSTEM 32 : DRIVERS : ETC : HOST and deleted the GSP.
My file looks like this
(copy and pasted)
# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
# For example:
# 188.8.131.52 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 184.108.40.206 x.acme.com # x client host
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost

If you on 5.1.1 you should have the blobs for that for sure I would think.
You can give this a try and see if this helps if not I really don't know what could be the problem.
