IOS 6 appears to have downloaded itself to my 8gb iphone 4. the OS is not installed but still takes up 2gb! how can I get rid of it? The phone is only a week old. There is a badge icon on the settings app. If I go to general>software update there is a (1) next to it. It checks for the update and then it says "iOS6 Apple Inc. Downloaded. Also, there is no music on my iphone, just a few apps. When I plug it into itunes, 2gb of data is under the "other" category.
I have not yet jailbroken this phone but have jailbroke many other devices. Is there some way I can delete the downloaded OS if I jail break it? Perhaps through terminal? I appreciate the help.

Must be some other stuff too. The update is only like 656mb so something else is taking up the 1.5 gigs.
