i dont know if this is in the right place but about a month and a half ago i jailbroken my iphone 4s 5.1.1 and it was working fine, my cousin gave me the source boerse-repo.net to download dreamboard. after about 2 days of having dreamboard i didnt like it and tried to delete it. when i went to delete it i seen that there are 2 dreamboard that i apparently downloaded (one is from insanelyi the other is from Boerse.bz). then when trrying to delete it i get a "trying to overwrite '/appliccations/dreamboard.app/info.plst', which is also in package boerse.dreamboard
sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned error code (1)
Can anyone help me

Delete both of them repos and git it off of modmyi repo and it's free.
Another thing mmi does not allow piracy or cracked repos on this forum. Please read the forum rules. Thank you.

Or, delete the plist files first, then remove warez repos, then delete the packages.

Seems like you options are limited then. Fresh restore (not from back up) to 5.1.1 and re-jailbreak will resolve your issue certainly.

ok but is that my only option because wouldnt i then lose all my contacts

Sounds like the only option to me. An after ya restore from new. I wouldn't git them cracked repos anymore stay away from them. Causes this is what normally happens after this.

If you have done a sync, yes you will be able to restore them as well as pics, vid etc.
Restoring from a back-up causes so many issues, all data, including jailbreak data is put back on the phone, so if you had an issue prior, it will be there again by using the back-up.
A fresh restore is always recommended and a sure fix as long as it not a hardware issue which yours is not.
