How to be able to Jailbreak my iPhone 4s

Hey everyone,

I am trying to jailbreak my phone and can't find out how. My phone is through verizon. I saw online that I need something called installer or Cydia. I looked for Cydia on my phone and it is not an app that I have. If someone could tell me how to get either installer or Cydia on my iPhone 4s that would be awesome! Kind of new at the whole personalizing my iPhone not exactly the best at it.

What are you on now 5.1.1?

Go into settings-general-about, scroll down until you see version then reply to 2k1... Only then will we be able to help out!
