IPhone 4s messaging werid...? Need Help

Okay so i just got my brand new iphone 4s today jailbroke it with no problems everything is working beautifully i go to text my friend to save my new number to his phone and i realize the messaging bubbles are all weird seems like everything is cut off.
here is the picture of what i mean
this is how the messaging is suppose to look like this
its really bothering me it looks horrible i dont think it has anything to do with me jailbreaking but if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know ASAP!!!

That is really strange. Have never heard of such a problem. I would restore and setup as new device (NOT FROM BACKUP).

On a side note you could install biteSMS and just be rid of the messages app all together.

You wouldn't even have to open the messages apps ever...just reply and compose a message from literally any where, home screen, lock screen, within any application.

I very never open the messages/biteSMS app to send or reply to a message.

And you can also view the chat history by dragging down the gray bar.
