You have to go to 4.2.6 to use greenpoison. Or you can make a custom 4.2.7 with snowbreeze and restore to that.

You should save your SHSH with tiny umbrella first though since Apple released 4.2.8 today, so you dont want to have to go to that.

As long as Apple is still signing 4.2.7 you can still restore to a custom 4.2.7 made with snowbreeze. You really need to save your SHSH though.

wait i think i got the shsh for 4.2.7 on tinyumbrella i jus needed to update TB LoL ok so now use Sn0wBreeze ??

Yes, use snowbreeze to make a custom 4.2.7 and restore to that in itunes.

either rename it to .ipsw or use firefox to download it.

its actually not that hard to rename just go to control panel folder options and enable show extentions

We cannot post links to custom firmare here.

You can use that if you want, it may be safer just to make your own though. You shouldnt have to edit your hosts.

Upgrade the Internet lol. Jk. Don't forget to set your phone into pwned dfu mode with redsn0w before restoring to the custom fw or you'll get an error.
