    Default Jailbreak Question
I'm sorry if my question sounds dumb, but I'm rather new to this and just need a little help. I jailbroke my Verizon iPhone on 4.2.7, and now my previous data is gone. Can I now restore from my backup in iTunes and get my info back, without losing my JB? Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure if you restore it through itunes you are going to have to re-jailbreak it

if you restore backup then you are fine,
    theres a difference to RESTORING
    and BACKUP restore.
Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

Just right-click your device in the left panel in iTunes and select restore from backup and it'll all be back on your phone.

Edit: and no that doesn't wipe out your jb.

If you need backup your library, I suggest a new tool called iTong. Seems from China...be careful to try it.
