Are SHSH's device specific?

Are the SHSH's device specific? Or could I use the SHSH for 4.2.6 from my 1st device on my 2nd device that I wasn't fortunate enough to backup with TU? Sorry for the double post - just really curious,and don't want to brick by trial and error. Thanks in advance.

Absolutely. I apologize for my reaction - just got a little frustrated with the whole process, and I don't have patience to begin with...lol - anyway, we're all good here. It was a lot easier in my opinion, 4 years ago to downgrade, and being out of the iphone community for -well - 4 years now, a lot has changed.
As for my initial noob "help me" post, I got'er up and runnin again! Sorry again for the attitude - I just hate not being able to get things right off the bat,and it wasn't fair for me to attack you like that. Hope we're cool!
