Default TetherMe vs MyWi on Verizon Question(s)
Short and interesting story: left AT&T for Verizon and the Thunderbolt. Hated Android (4G speeds are AMAZING though) and went back to the iP4. Thought I'd mention that as I have confirmed Android is useless.

Did the jailbreak and set the phone up close to what the ATT phone was like. I ran TetherMe vs the MyWi and my question is, does TetherMe access Verizon's Mobile Hotspot option? And since I didn't opt for the Hotspot data option, is it better to use MyWi?

I wondered that as well. I chose to stick with mywi though, just bc it does wireless tethering and works very well. I havent tried tetherme though, but I hear good things about it. Don't think anybody is getting in trouble with Verizon with it though, at least I haven't heard of anyway.

My copy (registered) enables use of the native hot spot feature, meaning I get infrastructure mode and WPA2 instead of ad-hoc and WEP. I have used both and prefer tetherme.
