    I used the same guide when I jailbroke my phone. Just make sure that you've download the correct version of GP for your windows os. I believe RC6 is the exact same as 5.4, RC6 just has some updates for apple tv.

    RC6 has some minor bug fixes as well (for example gpSphone now works again)
