Actually i think most of them need to be updated to work with 5.1.1 🙀
Have you tried "allclear tap to unlock hd theme?! This one changes the slider to the apple logo.

Thank you very much and mad love to all for the help! The "all clear tap to unlock hd theme" works!
Lol nevermind. Now it's not working. It installed 3 types of "tap..." and they're not working. Still sliding.

I'm gonna try one more time. I have an iPhone 4 with fw 5.1.1. It's jb via Absinthe 2.0.1. I'm unable to use ANY "tap to unlock" packages from Cydia. When I select one, the tweak name appears under my WinterBoard but I still have to "slide" to open my iPhone. I do have "tap to unlock iOS5" and if I deselect it, my iPhone resprings when I attempt to tap the screen. It's currently selected to avoid this problem. What should I do?
Meaning...what advice is out here to help me with this tap to unlock problem.

Maybe remove the tap to unlock ios 5 package!

Lol I believe I'm a hopeless nitwit lol...I've deselected all the themes, resprung, reselected all the themes, resprung again, and still no tappy-tap action lol

Well, I'd say it's a no go then bro

Have a look at this thread, http://modmyi.com/forums/iphone-4-ne...ml#post6558820
It gives you the right size for the [email protected]~iphone.png (452x94) for a true tap to unlock in iOS 5.1.1, but in that post are also some new problems mentions that are new to iOS 5.1.1.
I am using an invisible tap to unlock on 5.1.1 on my 3GS, but my sons use the same on their iPod Touch 4 (HD display) and it works perfect, tap not slide to unlock.
Would be in Cydia if the MMi repo crawler would work correctly, but sadly that is not the case.
I can tell you the repo if you want.

Thank you for the advice bro and yes what's the repo?
06-10-2012, 03:24 AM #55
The repo is "apt.mmus.us"!
There are 3 Tap-to-unlock themes, the one you want is the last one (with the green tick in the screenshot!).
Invisible tap-to-unlock-iOS 5.1.1 for SD/HD.

Just tried rasputin007s suggested tap to unlock theme, and it does work if you have no theme enabled! Tried it on several themes but couldnt get it to work, but using it with the stock ls works great...!!!

Guess no solution then? I downloaded the repo and stuff (awesome repo) but it that doesn't work.

Sorry to be MIA. I had another BBQ at my condo and just beginning to slow things down a bit. I'll check out that repo right now.
I encountered the same problems. I wonder why it doesn't play well with other repos and themes?

Depends what position you have the tap to unlock theme in the Winterboard theme list. If it is above the other theme you also have selected then it should work because the higher a theme in the list the higher the priority of their files. This is important especially when both themes have a lockscreen part!
On a more personal note, I have a few themes, as most of us, all are invisible tap to unlock. What I do is to copy the Bundles folders from the tap to unlock iOS 5.1.1 into the other themes that have LockBackground.html, Wallpaper.html etc and respring. Worked so far for any theme.
Alternative resize the slider image as mentioned 6 posts above of the theme you are using.
Or do a "mix and match", copy the files from the tap to unlock iOS 5.1.1 into another theme, basically replacing those files in there.
You just have to play around, try and see.
