Default Jailbreak iOS 4.2.7 (Verizon iPhone) Untethered!
iH8sn0w just released sn0wbreeze 2.6.1! It jailbreaks the Verizon iPhone running iOS 4.2.7 with a UNTETHERED jailbreak. You can download it http://iH8sn0w.com

**I am not a supporter of iH8sn0w at all... he has his "differences" with me. I don't suggest using his products, but I wanted to be the one to announce this news. Enjoy.**

Nice. My white iPhone came on 4.2.6, so I'm fine where I'm at, but it's good to know I can update and still have an untethered jailbreak.

Also good news for everyone that accidentally updated.

Heh, yup. I was reading up on the Verizon jailbreak and had my fingers crossed when I went in to buy it. First thing I did when I got home was jailbreak it with greenpoison.

I found out there's a package on Cydia that will install the untethered part on a jailbroken 4.2.7 if on a tethered jailbreak currently.

Boot tethered on 4.2.7, then add the cydia repo:
    Code:

Install the Package 'Verizon 4.2.7 Untether'

Looks like Your Cydia Repo also has the Verizon 4.2.7 untethered package. The repo URL is http://YourCydiaRepo.org

Does it also have the update? Why use someone else's repo when you can get it from source?

Your Cydia Repo has the latest version.

I repeat - why use an unknown repo when you can get it from the author?

Sad part is that you just ripped it off of pushfix's repo and uploaded it to yours without any request from me or @pushfix.

iOS Modifier - is that your repo? And you stole someone else's work to host it without their permission?

    Is that what you do?

It's not like it costs $ so it doesn't exactly matter.

Yes it does. Please remove it.

hey ih8snow! i have a question about sn0wbreeze custom firmwares. i'm running a virtual image of windows xp sp3 on my Mac. i've made the firmware for iOS 4.2.7 and i tried restoring the custom firmware on iTunes in my Mac(Snow Leopard) and it's giving me errors and somehow not letting me restore. is there anyway for me to fix this rather than restoring on a windows machine?
