I have come to the conclusion that I cannot afford to purchase a 3GS phone at this time. So now, what are your thoughts as to upgrading to 3.0 from 2.1? Is there a great advantage and differece in doing so? I am really not to computer savvy so attempting this is a real challenge to me, so need opinions on the worthyness of doing so..LOL All thoughts and opinions appreciated..I used pwnage the last time..

Upgrading is easy. iClarified has some really good tutorials on it. As far as the advantages...I did just for the games. There's going to be a time where current games aren't compatible with older firmwares. I also did it for the built in MMS function in the messages app.

Yeah overall it's a good idea to stay up to date especially with such a big jump (from 2.x to 3.x)
