Help?!

I have an iPod Touch 3g 64gb on jailbroken (spirit) 3.1.3 firmware, and I want to restore back to un-jailbroken 3.1.3. I have iTunes 9.1.1.12 and I'm on xp sp3.

I clicked on restore as normal and my pc downloaded the 3.1.3 firmware (as I jailbroke and updated on my old computer). It goes right through to extracting software and then verifying ipod restore with apple. But...when the "verifying ipod restore with apple" disappears, it says "The iPod "...." could not be restored. This device isn't eligible for the requested build."

I have no idea what I can do, and any help would be much appreciated.

Hey fixed the problem, well not really. I ended upgrading to 4.0 which is a bit of a bugger because I lost my jailbreak but not such a bigey for me at the mo.
