Dtunes and mobile terminal doesn't work nor open, can anyone help???

I have recently updated my OS software to 4.0 and now my dtunes and mobile terminal won't stay open nor work... can anybody help me fix this problem??? And my dtunes and mobile terminal didn't work either when it was running on OS 3.1.3 as well...

They don't work yet just wait patiently for the developers to fix them. You certainly don't need dTunes. Just install Safari Download Stuff and go to beemp3.com find a file and download it.

if you have ifile you can still view your movies

He said he also couldn't open iFile too. iFile works for me though so maybe try and reinstall that.

Allot of apps don't work. Bossprefs etc.
To work around the terminal just install issh or something like it from AppStore and then install openssh server and connect to localhost 127.0.0.1. Works for me. One more button to push but at least I can get a terminal.

If you don't want to do that and just wanted to change the default password you can run Rock. It will change your default "alpine" password for you.

ifile works on my iphone 3g 4.0 i got terminal working by installing the new mobile terminal manually but dtunes aint yet been fixed to get the mobile terminal jus google "mobile terminal 4.0"

ok so this is how i got it to work
1:download mobile terminal os 4 from xsellize on your phone
2:ssh into phone and copy the terminal.app folder to your computer
3:uninstall mobile terminal os 4 from your phone
4:install dtunes which will install the old terminal aswell
5:ssh back into phone and copy THE CONTENTS of the terminal.app folder that u copied to your computer before, into the terminal.app folder that is now there there and say yes if it asks to override/replace existing files
6:respring and both mobile terminal and dtunes should worked, it worked for me

To fix mobile terminal follow these steps

Step 1 download mobile terminal from cydia

Step 2 Download this .deb file http://tinyurl.com/35ycstf

Step 3 run the file in you're iPod-you can use file to do it

Step 4 restart you're iPod and that's it.

I'm finding myself with the same problem. I've tried several reinstalls. The methods listed here have not worked for me, and the bit.ly link is broken.

Has anyone found anything out yet? When I search MMi, I can't get anything more recent than a year or two.

I too have been having problems w this program. Upon downloading and proceeding to type, "./gettorrent" nothing happens other than I receive a report about an Aerosmith album I downloaded yesterday which appears to be stuck in the program. I have uninstalled and reloaded, but to no avail. Any suggestion. Please advise. Thank you. J
