Program to make Full backups For iPhone 3G

I've been looking for hours now, but can't seem to find
a program to make a full backup image form my iPhone 3G.
Does anyone know if there is such a program? If so, please tell me

I have been searching for the same answer.
I have run across discussions about the guy that made all the NES emulators is also the expert on iphone forensics. He developed some softwares to boot the iphone and dump the data.
Surely there is a way to create, backup, and restore images to the iphone.
After all it's just one's and zero's right?
