    Default Loop restore
I have a problem with an ipod. Its my friend's ipod and she asked me to fix it but i cant seem to find the problem. Every time i restory, it keep saying i need to restore.

Whats happens is exactly as follow:
    -turn on the ipod
-shows apple's logo (the screen is really dark i can barely see it)
    -the screen slash white
-it tells me to connect to itunes to do a restore
    -i hard reset it
    -tells me the same
-i connect to itunes to restore
    -does the same thing...

I also tried to put it into disk mode and hard reset it and restore while in disk mode. Nothing seems to work. What might be the problem and how can i fix it? I cant use it in any way, it keep telling me to connect for a restore.

Oh sorry. That's strange then. Did your friend screw around with it? and is it jailbroken?

No i dont think it's jailbroken. Can we even jailbreak an old ipod like that? She just used it for music.. i mean i dont even know if you can do more than that with it else than watch videos lol

I dont know if she droped it or anything, she just asked me to repair it but i think it might be the hard drive so she told me to never mind she will probably buy a new one.
