1.1.1 can do all the things the other firmwares can as far as I know, besides the icon wiggle, but you can still rearrange with Customize. It's really stable, too!

I'm completely new to iPod, iPod Touch.
I have used a Jailbroken iPhone but that's about it.

So come on tell me.
Suppose i get an old iPod Touch, how can i upgrade to 1.1.4? That software... Whatsit-called... iLiberty?

Plus... Is there any difference b/w the old ones (early models) and the new ones? (screen quality)

How do i check the manufacturing date w/o opening the whole thing?

1. Update in itunes jailbreak with whatever tickles your fancy wither it being iLiberity, zipone<- I personally suggest not but w/e ur call, winpwn <<<<<HIGHLY suggested!

We don't know until the dev's tell us, and the only way they can tell us is by the release of the 2.0 firmware.
I vote 1.1.4, hardly had any problems on my brother's iPod.

If youre on a mac, 2.1 because thats jailbreakable for you. Us windows users, 2.0.2
