Default iPod Touch is locked for over 42 years!!
Hi everyone! I just have a little hiccup here.

My sister owns an iPod touch 2nd generation 8 GB model

She usually puts a passcode so that other people wont be able to open the device without her permission.

It would seem that someone was so desperate to unlock her device, that they tried whatever combination that came out of their head. I presume that they have encountered the must wait 5 min to unlock thing.. They probably waited and tried again. and again, and again.

Today, when my sister checked her device, she noticed that the device was disabled. Locked if you will. With no way to enter a passcode whatsoever. And get this. It says that the iPod is disabled for 22,368,216 minutes!!!

That translates to roughly 42+ years.

how can I help my little sis unlock her device? Thank you!

    delete:
    var/keychains/keychain-2.db
    private/var/keybags/systembag.kb

reboot, your device will go into recovery mode. go into DFU mode and run latest redsn0w.
    Passcode cleared, all data intact
