    Hi, I have a jailbroken ipod 4g 4.3.4 tethered.
    I want to have a untethered jailbroken ipod but, have no idea how to backup my ipod and upgrade to an untethered ipod.
    Does the newer firmware 5.1 a better firmware? Also, can i jailbreak a jailbroken ipod ???

    Just make sure iTunes is updated to the newest version.
    Plug ya phone up then when it finds ya device right click ya device and hit backup. Make take a little while. Then update ya iPod which should be to 5.1.1. After all that's done here is a link to download the untethered jailbreak for it. http://greenpois0n.com/

    So, you are saying that I can backup my jailbroken ipod (not Iphone like you said) through itunes
    Then update it to the latest firmware, then jailbreak again with the latest jailbreak?
