    I have an ipod touch 2g mc on 4.2.1 that i would really like back on 3.1.3 for various reasons. i only have my shsh saved for as far back as 4.0. is there any way to downgrade at all? if you found a way, i would really appreciate it. or, could i just copy over springboard.app from 3.1.3 so the 3.1.3 tweaks would work? any help would be appreciated.

    Nope, you need shsh blobs to downgrade.
