iPod Touch 4G Update from 4.3.3

I have an iPod touch 4G jailbroken with 4.3.3 untethered but I want to update it a bit. Whats the latest firmware out that is untethered and how would I go about doing it.

The latest firmware out that has an untethered JB is 4.3.3

If you want to update it a bit, you will lose your jailbreak.
There is nothing interesting in 4.3.4 or 4.3.5 anyway. Just security fixes to stop jailbreaking mostly

5.0 may be interesting, and it will be out next week, but probably won't have a new jailbreak available for awhile.

Don't update! 4.3.3 is the latest untethered jailbreak. There is no point updating to 4.3.5 since 5.0 is coming out on the 12th

Ok Thanks for the reply. If I was to redo the 4.3.3 would I loose my apps from the App Store. Not bothered about cydia as I want to start fresh

You'll need to download your AppStore apps again, but any paid apps you won't have to buy again.
They're tied to your AppleID, so you can download and reinstall them for free.
