Stuck in restore mode

Hey guys, I am in sort of a pickle. My iPod Touch is stuck in restore mode, but whenever I try to restore, it comes up with the error code 1611 saying that it cannot restore. I have tried restoring it through DFU mode but it comes up with the error code 2000. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you looked up the error code on apples website? That helps out quite a bit. Also try doing it on a different computer. That might help out too.

Well, thanks for your help, but I took it up with Apple Care support, and I eventually got it working by going to my neighbor's house to restore it. But NOW, I have a different problem. After syncing it with my neighbor's computer, it will not sync with mine, because iTunes does not detect my iPod, and this is a Desktop running Windows XP, but windows can detect it as a camera. Any help with that? It would really be appreciated.
