Default Weird connect to itunes screen?

Hi guys. I was using my ipod and it ran out of battery. My ipod was jailbroken untethered with limera1n and 4.1. Then I connected it to computer and turned it on, and the connect to itunes screen came up. I tried running limera1n, updated itunes, redsn0w latest version with 4.1 firmware, everything.. still connect to itunes screen. Weird thing is my sbsettings - brightness, wifi, bluetooth, process, etc. - all works, even taking screenshot.. What's wrong with my ipod?!1

    anyone...? T T

Do you have the latest version of iTunes? Have you tried restoring it?

Yes, my itunes is latest version.. It'd probably work if I restore it, but I wanna avoid restoring because there are too much data that I didn't backup from it.. Does anyone know how to fix it??!

You are in recovery then. Try using tiny umbrella to see if it can exit recovery for you.

    I don't think so..
Is the connect to itunes screen supposed to have the status bar at the top? Right now there is, but if I turn it off and use limera1n it goes to connect to itunes screen without statusbar.. this is weird..

Recovery mode is not supposed to have the status bar. If you are seeing that then you sound like you need to activate. Try plugging it into iTunes now.

Well, I am out of ideas. I would just restore but you can wait to see if anyone else has had this issue too.

I had this problem on my old 2G iPod. It was on 2.x firmware and it wasn't jailbroken but I think I fixed it by rebooting it and then just syncing it with iTunes. No restore involved.
