Homescreen Wallpaper not working AT ALL!

I have a 2nd gen Touch running 4.2.1 jailbreak and I've been looking around trying to get a homescreen wallpaper. Nothing has worked at all so far. I've tried Features, Homescreen Wallpaper: Enabler, and putting "homescreen-wallpaper" in the Source Library files with iFile. Everytime I unlock my iPod with any of those methods it just goes in safe mode. (In safe mode I could have a wallpaper with the Source Library method......) Any hints or solutions? The only reason I want a wallpaper is because I want 3DBoard and it doesn't support theme wallpaper.

use redsn0w to enable wallapapers for your device and then set them in your settings app, or download the tweak off Cydis to rnable native wallpapers for your device or use winterboard.

or get a device that can handle it without a jailbreak.

I already tried winterboard and that cydia tweak and they won't work. If I use redsn0w do I have to rejailbreak it?

Get MyOS. It also allows for multitasking too.

Wallpaper will KILL your RAM and cause extreme lag if you do not have a good amount of RAM.
