Tethered to untethered ipod touch 4g

Hi. My friend helped me to jailbreak (tethered) my ipodtouch 4g using redsnow. Can i do untethered jailbreak without losing my apps? If so, how?

Also, I cant download from **********. " api error permission denied" always show everytime i try to download. Please help. Thanks

just use greenpoison nothing will not be affected n if ur talking bout tht app tht let's u download apps for free then u wont get ur answer here

No you won't lose anything just by running GP on your device.

Do u know how to remove cydia? One more question. When i rejailbreak without restoring, will my old cydia will be overwrite by new one?

no it wont....basically all it will do is "upgrade" ur redsnow jailbreak from an tether to an untether

use greenp0ison...thats what i used to bring my ipod from tethered to untethered. you won't lose anything
